They gave me a quote for moving items from Texas to Florida of $1386 and by the time I finally recovered our items, it was three weeks later, the total we were forced to pay was $2190 and several items were damaged, destroyed or missing. They held our item until we gave them their demanded new amount of $2190 plus $125 for a locksmith they assured me I would not need when I agreed to hire their company. The best part after the run-around, holding our things ransom, and losing them for a while, was the condition in which they arrived, what actually arrived! We are missing around $2000 in items and several items are destroyed or damaged including antiques. Some of the extra charges were supposedly for extra moving materials and I can assure you, there were none! Broken boxes stacked in the mud and some masking tape is not worth several hundred dollars. They also said there were extra charges for more cubic feet then I had initially stated. Not only did I know this was false because I unpacked a 6x12 trailer only able to hold 396 cubic feet into the storage until I hired them to move and told them to base the price at 420 cubic feet, they also said they would provide me with pictures and measurements which no one has seen to this date. I will not rest until every consumer in need of a moving company knows, this company is a fraud and the people running it are crooks!
