Let me first start off by breaking this review down in pieces, because not all of it was bad, just the delivery portion.
Scheduling and initial pickup was excellent. Danielle, who I spoke with to get the ball moving was EXCELLENT, courteous, professional and extremely helpful. This was our first long distance move and she answered all of our questions and concerns. The crew arrived on a Thursday afternoon, on-time and worked their tails off to ensure our items were properly packed, secured etc. They were courteous and professional - on a 100 degree day. Yet, despite being hot and tired (at least we did what we could to keep them hydrated - lots of food and beverages). I was optimistic that all would go smoothly, based on this experience. Boy was I wrong.
From there....our items went to their warehouse and that's when things went from great to horrible in a blink of an eye. The delivery truck decided to show up to our new house in FL at 10:30pm and wanted us to sign the forms stating we had everything before we reviewed the documentation and inspected the items. We noticed many items not checked as being accounted for, and then it got worse. Between 10:30 and 2am, as if I wasn't annoyed to begin with....we came to the conclusion, based on our personal documentation that over $9,000 worth of items (small and large) were unaccounted for. The men had no clue where these items were: including legs to office furniture, my son's bed (no bed and he's 6....very upsetting), a grill, firepit...the list goes on.
The next day we called, and the search was on. Apparently over 250cu ft of our personal belongings were left behind in their warehouse. It took over 2 weeks to get the remaining pieces of our belongings - or I should say what was left of them. I was appalled at how items were treated on the truck. Boxes and even Tupperware totes were destroyed - ripped, broken, holes in them, etc. The guys were tossing around items as if they were footballs. I was even asked, by the head guy, to provide a tip (the second time around...even though I tipped the first time - it wasn't their fault items were missing) and I refused based on how my items were treated.
These guys may be good for local moves, where it stays on the truck, but I will NEVER, EVER use them again for any reason whatsoever. During this entire ordeal, I found the information I was providing to be lacking at best. Many times, people didn't return my calls or emails, and I was courteous (upset yes, but not nasty or threatening). There are still items that are unaccounted for and others that were completely destroyed.
