I recently moved from Ohio to California for work and used Green Van Lines. I contacted probably about a dozen moving companies and some of them just seemed shady. Saying they couldn't offer me a quote until I filled out the complete inventory. I had an exact weight because I had recently separated from the military and all of my stuff was still packed up from that. That was another thing a lot of the moving companies wouldn't even take money off if they gave me a quote since absolutely everything was already packed up. I finally found this website and saw the review for Green Van Lines. I contacted them and got a hold of Rocky. Rocky was capital A-mazing. Before he even would offer a quote he asked my projected move date to make sure they would be able to pick up on time. After that I gave him the information about my move and he gave me a quote. He said he could get an exact price if I did the inventory which I gladly did. There was a little mix up with his manager on my rate being from the Midwest or East Coast (if you grew up in Ohio, for whatever reason it's considered Midwest). He resolved the issue with his manager and kept me still very happy. The movers were on time despite there being a snow storm, and when I had my address for delivery it was only about 8 or 9 days before it was delivered. There were a few dents and dings but honestly moving about 2000 miles I expected it, and honestly it could have been from moving from Texas to Ohio 6 months earlier so I can't blame Green. If you're looking for an honest moving company call Green and ask for Rocky.
