I used Great Plains movers based on the recommendation of a friend but I would never use them again. Our contract with Great Plains "guaranteed" a delivery time of 4-7 days after pickup. Our moving van didn't arrive to our destination for 13 days. Our total reimbursement for food, clothing for the 6-day late shipment was a $225, which didn't come close to covering our costs of living in an empty house, without means to cooks, etc... I feel that we were lied to and that we paid a hefty price for very poor service. Please look around for another company!
