DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR LONG-DISTANCE MOVES! THEY ARE UNABLE TO MAKE TIMELY DELIVERY & COMMUNICATION IS TERRIBLE!
I had used Great Nation Moving previously and everything went well. I needed to find a moving company to move my mother’s 1 bedroom apartment from California to Pennsylvania. Based on my prior experience with them I decided to hire them again, even though their cost estimate was higher than everyone else I considered.
Although I told them up front I was flexible on the delivery time, I was assured I would be kept up-to-date.
It never occurred to me that now, more than a week after they picked up my load, the only thing they tell me is, “Truck is en route. It will take some time.”
We have been living in a hotel for over a week now and I still don’t know when my mother’s things will be delivered!
