Great American Van Lines

Great American Van Lines did everything to deserve this review. They moved me from Vermont to South Dakota and came in, packed my whole house, did a better wrapping job of my furniture then i've ever experienced with any major vans I've used in the past. We are a military family, and up until this move, the government has chosen and selected the mover that we were going to use. When it came down to it, i had no experience with any small companies and after seeing the news reports, and reading hundreds and hundreds of reviews, as well as interviewing about 20 movers. I decided to use Great American Van Lines. A friend used them back in January, and even though they weren't the cheapest in price, I felt like I would have the greatest chance of a successful move based on their reviews and David and Jason's help. I had them come and do everything, because this was all on 2 weeks notice due to my fiances mother going into the hospital. We really couldn't afford any other stresses. In the past, it has taken 20-30 days to do the move. They promised me that it would be done in 7 days. They came in with 5 guys, all in uniform (pants and shirts, it was kinda cute). They had a tractor tailor waiting for them outside, and loaded directly into the tailor. I couldn't believe how quickly these guys worked. They made me feel really comfortable, and by the time the paperwork was finished, the packing was almost done, and they started loading. On delivery, everyone did a fantastic job as well, even helped me unpack my kitchen and china. I really appreciate everyone's hard work, communication and professionalism.
