When I first found out I was moving, I poked around online just to see what I can expect to pay, and before long I had entered my information on a quote comparison site. Now, doing that triggered about 20 different moving companies to call me, half of which provided me with free estimates, and the other half just caught me at bad times. After I had about 8 different quotes, I decided to take a look at the companies online. What I found was absurd. Out of the 8 quotes, 5 had really horrific reviews, people saying things like 'my stuff never arrived' and even worse. 2 more were practically non-existent online, and 1 had like 1 review and that was it.
What I DID find however, searching the web, was a moving comparison site, which listed a bunch of different movers and their users' reviews. I noticed that great american van lines had excellent reviews, and were in my area, so I gave them a call.
I was nothing short of impressed. They arrived on time, worked dilligintly, and charged me the exact price they quoted me. The whole job was really smooth, and they managed to get my bedframe out the door, which I had given up on, not realizing it can be taken apart when you actually know what you're doing (unlike me ; )
Anyway, these guys are great, they do what they say they will, and do a great job at it. Highly recommend them.
