Having never moved with a moving company, I was pretty hesitant at first to book my move with any company, for fear of falling for a scam, or having my stuff damaged, or any number of possible bad situations. So I did research, and then some more research. I found these guys, great American van lines online on the moversreviews website, as one of the highest rated companies on the site. I looked into it more, and found that besides a couple of bad apples, almost everyone was really happy with the job they did for them. So I called them up, and after Tom took my inventory he gave me a quote for my move which was actually a few hundred dollars less than what I expected. Afterwards I called a few other companies just to compare the price I received from great American, and they were all much higher, besides one company that just seemed really sketchy, and didn’t even have a website or anything. Obviously, I ended up going with great American, and I was really pleased. They did an excellent job, and did it really quickly too! They even figured out how to take apart the shelving unit in my living room, even though I was sure it couldn’t be done, and had totally planned to leave it there.
