My move was arranged by my company in late Aug to be moved from Jersey City, NJ to NM and the company our business chose was Great American Van Lines. Their quote was competitive from the big boys and their estimate was based off of a few quotes I had received from walk in estimates by Mayflower and Atlas and Flat Rate moving out of New York. I was quoted by all three companies and they had said my weight was between 8,000-9,500 lb. range with several services provided including full packing, full valuation insurance as opposed to the standard sixty cents per pound and also specialty crating of my 2 flat panel televisions one 60 inch and one 42 inch and preparation of my pool table and a pinball machine. They came with 3 men and got to work after I filled out some paperwork and took about 5 or 6 hours to pack and another 5 or so to wrap everything and load. I am grateful to have used such a professional company to move my items and my company is in the process of negotiating with Great American Van Lines to move more corporate employees int he future based on the move and service they provided for my move. I also moved a vehicle through their automobile carrier and had a great experience with them as well. Very much recommend this company.
