On the phone, the company was understanding and accomodating. They knew I would already be in PA when my items were picked up. They knew I could not give them a precise count of the items in my storage unit. As I am a smallish woman alone who couldn't move heavier things to count them. They were told there was itemized furniture (exact count) , at least 40 small/medium boxes and about twenty bags of clothing,etc. From that came the first estimate.
I called on 7/24 to make sure all was in order. Should have been my first alarm. Pick up was in place, but no delivery date. Did not like the fact that the key to the unit was secreted by the business owner, but we finally agreed on that. Delivery would be 7/28.
Early evening of 7/26, I received a call that they would need to repack, more items, etc. And the charge more than doubled, I was being held hostage. So I agreed.
Upon arrival. Some furniture was damaged. Some items that they had had packed were broken. They retaped boxes that had been packed by another moving company. Taken items out of furniture to repack, etc , etc,etc.
I cannot recommend strongly enough not to deal with this company.
