I understand. You SHOULD be skeptical: anyone who gets reviews like this must rig the system, right? Hire people to rate them highly and pay them off? That was my first thought anyway.
Great American is a breath of fresh air. He's straight from Mr. Roger's neighborhood. I mean that in the best way: They are ridiculously friendly, punctual, gets back to your neurotic emails and phone calls quickly, and his rates XXXwhich at first struck me as high XXXare very reasonable compared to every other company in the city.
What really impressed me: he personally drops off bigass bins with tops, which he cleans out after the last use. And you will need these bins. He works around your schedule to drop them off too (as many as a needed, which was about 25 total for me). I found out halfway through packing that I needed even more bins...he brought by without a complaint. His employees worked their asses off: we did initial paperwork in 2 minutes, then they worked quickly and carefully with my stuff. You're paying by the hour, but they're working as quickly as they can.
People don't do business like this anymore. By that I mean personal attention and service with a smile. Do yourself a favor and call Great American Moving & Storage
