At first when I booked with Great American, I was a bit hesitative since they were not pushy as other companies and they didn't ask me for any money ahead, and they were cheaper, I thought it was too good to be true. I even had another moving company on hold for a case they won't show up. But they called me a day before the move to verify the time and at the day of the move they came even half an hour earlier, loaded everything and when I asked them for the new estimated weight they told me it came up 300 lbs. more but I won't be charged for it because everything goes according to inventory list I have made with their consultant Joseph. So with all the fears I have had regards the low price and no deposits (we all read about moving scams of moving companies online), everything came out on the best side and I am happy I used their services. I think all moving companies shouldn't charge deposits as if it also appears to be against the law!
