We chose Got it Moving after looking at about 10 other moving companies. We scheduled our move with them for today 8/29/2010 between 11am-2pm. We hired a babysitter and dropped our kids off at 9:30am so we could be back at our apartment by 11am. At exactly 2pm I called and got ahold of Blake. He said that he would call me right back after he got ahold of the moving crew. After 30 minutes my Husband called back and Blake said that he couldn't get ahold of the crew but they were just running late on their first move and that he would keep trying to get ahold of them and he would call us back as soon as he got ahold of them. 2 hours later at 4:30PM my husband called back and Blake said again that he still hadn't gotten ahold of them and they were just really busy and really behind schedule but that they would definitely be there today. He again said that he would keep calling the crew so he could give us a time that they would be there. At 6:30PM we tried calling them again but could not get ahold of anyone. The phone just kept ringing and ringing. I can not believe that they all went home and didn't even bother to call us to say "oh hey we over booked today we won't make it, sorry we wasted your enter day and made you pay for a babysitter for the entire day" My husband even waited at the apartment until 8:30pm hoping they would show up but they never did. Got it moving is a horrible moving company. My husband now has to take tomorrow off of work and we need try to find a moving company that can move us the same day. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY unless you just want to sit in your apartment/house waiting all day for them to show up.
