Everything with this company goes okay and then they start scamming you the day they deliver your poorly treated belongings. We saw their semi truck slow down and then drive right by our normal sized, empty, residential street. We got a call fifteen minutes later saying they refused to go down the street because it was raining. They charged us $350 to shuttle our things in a small Uhaul , $100 over the shuttle fee listed in the email. This was all just because the movers were not comfortable driving the truck in the rain. We spent over an hour on the phone with Billie and her manager Walter, both of which were very unhelpful and bullied us into paying for the shuttle lest we sign our names to cover the whole process’s liability. Hours after we finally paid them $225 for the very unnecessary shuttle, the men showed up and started unpacking. They could barely maneuver the Uhaul. They never assembled the things we paid them to reassembled, they talked back to us when we told them where we wanted everything, and they left all of the packaging trash strewn about in our front yard. Without having unpacked anything, we already can see that our bookshelf has a hole busted in the side and our sofa was taped up so tightly that the fabric has stretched. The way we were so harshly treated, it seems like these people are using this moving company as a front for illegal trafficking.
