Every person who relocates as frequently as I do is smart enough to use disposable IKEA furniture. I, on the other hand, have an extensive collection of old, heavy pieces of furniture that are passed down through generations. They are very close to my heart and it seems unlikely that I would want to part with them anytime soon. But it’s quite embarrassing when my furniture put movers through hell. For my last move from Miami, FL to Phoenix, AZ, I hired full service van lines as my movers. I was expecting them to gush out loud when they saw my furniture. But they surprised me. The 5 movers seemed completely unshaken by the pieces they had to carry downstairs to the van. They just sucked it up and got to work. I know how hard it must have been but the men didn’t show any sign of weakness. I was very happy with their outstanding efforts.
