After reading the below reviews either something must have changed at Flat Rate or we were very lucky.
We moved a 1 BR from Manhattan, NY to Miami FL and have to say could not have asked for a better experience.
The important factor for us was a delivery window in Miami, which Flat Rate gave 4 days (was standard across the board). They picked up our stuff on the Thursday, and delivered the following Friday AM in Miami, FL.
From the moment they arrived (on time; calling in advance) in NY, to calling us to advise a delivery date in Miami (morning of the 2nd day of the window) everything was effortless.
Flat Rate provided a quote which stayed true, all our boxes arrived with nothing missing, broken, or damaged, and they had a systematic method for unpacking everything.
Both the pick up crew in NY and the Delivery crew in Miami were friendly efficient and polite.
After reading numerous horror move stories, I have to say this was very easy. Credit where credit is due.
