This is a company of thieves that try to scam people of their money. On 8/9/13 I was given an estimate for $1446 for the 26 items that are listed on my contract. I gave a deposit of $582 for the move of my personal property and a $200 deposit for the auto transport which was scheduled either 8/24 or 8/25. I was told by Nirva to give the driver $432 at pickup for household items and pay the remaining $432 for household goods and $790 for the car at the time of delivery. On 8/21/13 I called first call movers to find out the exact date of property pickup and was told to call back on 8/23 to get the exact date as I did. I was informed that the pickup was scheduled on 8/25. These 2 guys show up at my residence and did not have an inventory period. One of the guys started telling me the cost is $3906, then he went down to $3000 and from there $2500. I was completely baffled because I didn't know what he was basing his information on. I have only the listed items on the inventory list. The driver called the dispatcher
inquiring
about my vehicle pickup and told me that the driver showed up on Saturday when I was informed that pickup was on Sunday. I was at home the entire day on Saturday, so I don't understand if he had my complete address, why didn't he knock on my door, when my car is right at the entrance. I spoke with Sam and asked for a refund and he told me that I was not getting my money back and he doesn't know why the driver quoted many different prices. Therefore I don't have a scheduled pickup and as per contract I'm entitled to a refund 7 days prior to pickup, a date that doesn't exist. I received a call from Nicole on 8/28 asking me could I bring my car to Sacramento?!. This situation has offset my life at this moment. I had to cancel my scheduled flight to Houston, TX and possibly pay additional rent due to the fact that I must be out of here on 9/1/13. I only request my money back.
