Same story as everyone else, I put up a $507 deposit, I was rushed into it because they said the trucks were filling up quickly. Also I was given a story how Marion, a guy, was scammed when he was younger and had his stuff held hostage by a moving company and he had a young child at the time so he that memory has stayed with him and he would never ever do that to anyone else. I also had gotten a call from another moving company who actually vouched for this company, telling me that they had good ratings. I wonder if they were from this company and tagged teamed me into being winned over, because I was skeptical. Marion promised to be there through this whole process but as soon as he got this deposit I have not been able to get hold of him. I felt he had overcharged on some items, the weight was excessive and he left off all of my clothes and linens from the inventory. Big red flags! I am cutting my losses before I lose anymore. The moving company assigned to pick up my stuff was supposed to be a parent company of First Call Movers, but they said they have nothing to do with FCM. Just another lie I caught them in. I regret fully not taking my time and checking them out first!!
