I recently used expert van lines for my move to CT to GA. The overall experience was bad. The tone of customer service changed from the moment my items were picked up. The delivery was delayed and any inquiry about the status of delivery was responded in an extremely rude manner. Also sales, customer service and dispatch would not respond to calls and simply hang up after picking. My items arrived in a poor condition. Everything was lumped into a big heap rather than being stacked properly. I wish I had taken better insurance since the default coverage is negligible. When contacted about the improper handling of my items, they simply responded that I had packed the boxes. I had paid an additional $500 for them to pack. Nevertheless, who packed I don't understand why a moving company would load items in such a fashion. My family was extremely disheartened with how expert van lines handled our move. Many of the items had been collected over our lifetime and it was so sad to see how they were handled
