Move was a total fiasco

This company is now called Milestone Relocation Services. I DO NOT and WOULD NOT recommend their services, at least from the Charlotte, NC office. They were 5 hours late arriving at my apartment at 7:30 pm instead of their quoted arrival time between 2:00 and 2:30 pm. (I had already agreed to a schedule change from the original 9am arrival time to 2pm because of issues they had with equipment). The contract individuals doing the work were exhausted. Had just come from a move that was supposed to take 2.5 hours and ended up being an under estimated job that took 9 hours. The movers were as expedient and cordial as they could be and did a good job. I actually loaded and unloaded all my clothes plus my perishable food from the refrigerator and freezer plus as much as I could get in my car to make up the time. We loaded in Charlotte, NC drove to Columbia, SC, then unloaded at 10:30 pm. The movers left my apartment at 11:30 pm. Because of their delays, I had to call my apartment manager to make special arrangements to handle my service hookups, cable setup, etc., since I was not there at the time I should have been if the movers had arrived on time. Their delay caused alot of inconvenience for a lot of people. I requested a discount on the move because of all the problems, but all they could muster was barely a 10% reduction.
