STAY AWAY from United States Express Van Lines, a sister company of Enterprise Relocation Systems. I have filed complaints against this company because of: (1) the extremely unsatisfactory and unprofessional service they provided, and the inconvenience and stress it brought about; (2) their failure to provide me any discount for the 3-day delayed relocation, which was their own fault and which I certainly deserved to be compensated; and (3) the management’s failure to communicate with me and their inefficiency to resolve all issues.
The 1st time they could not come, their initial reason was that they were coming late. Eventually, they couldn’t come at all because they DO NOT HAVE A DRIVER AVAILABLE!?! I had to spend the night in my apartment with all of my things already packed. The 2nd time they couldn’t come, they had NO TRUCKS AVAILABLE!?! As compensation, the manager (Ram Ben) offered me 3-months free storage in their own facility. First of all, I cannot trust this company any more. The sooner I am done doing business with them, the better. Second, I never wanted to avail of their storage facility in the first place that’s why I chose the one which was conveniently near me. Third, the compensation they offer should be on the relocation expenses and not on the storage expense, which was NEVER part of the contract that I signed. I refused the unacceptable offer and demanded that I be given a discount on my remaining balance. On the 3rd day, the movers were able to load and unload my furniture. The whole day, I was trying to contact the manager and resolve the issue about the discount (the exact amount I never even specified). He never spoke to me. Even the sales person, Dolores, spoke to me as if I do not have any right to be upset, frustrated, and aggravated by the whole situation.
The complaint department they referred me to, Anthem Claim Management, does not work with them anymore. After doing my own research, this company’s accreditation by the Better Business Bureau has been revoked and they are no longer recognized by the American Moving and Storage Association. But both their websites claim that they are still a member of BBB and AMSA. Even the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration of the Department of Transportation confirmed that they do not have a license to operate. They have false advertisements that misled me to trust them as an accredited business. The public should be aware of how United States Express Van Lines and Enterprise Relocation Systems are truly the worst in its business.
