I booked the move through The Moving Experts and they hired Elite Moving and Storage. The original quote was $2200 but then when they could not get a semi in my driveway, the charged $600 more. This move was a NIGHTMARE! Joe with Elite called @ 10am on Sunday and said I had to have another $1356 in cash or money order by 7am Monday! Elite left hundreds of dollars of stuff @ the old address and broke/damaged hundreds of dollars more. When I called Joe about the left items and the damage he said, "the moves over" and hung up on me. He was very rude and unprofessional. It took 5 phone calls just to get the # for the claims company. I'm still trying to get compensation and the move was 9/30/10. The biggest $4000 mistake I've EVER made!!! Huge scam/rip off.
