I hope everyone that sees this review will think twice about hiring Economy Van Lines. I booked my move 2 months in advance and was told I needed to give a 2 day window for pick up which was fine, however 2 days before my pick up date dispatch called me and said they had to move my pick up date by 2 days or I would have to wait 4 days late. In my eyes that was unacceptable and the dispatch person I talked to was very rude. I finally agreed for a discount I would accept 2 days earlier, they were 3 hours late for the pick up and showed up in a Budget Rental truck. To add to my frustration at that point a completely different moving Co. picked up my stuff and went through my apartment and Co. even though I had the same inventory as I got a binding quote, not only did they not honor my discount I was promised, I was charged $600 more then the quote I was given originally. When I got angry they threatened to leave and not do the move, so I was backed up against the wall and had no choice but to accept. My furniture was not delivered until 20 days later and yet again, it was a third moving Co., not Economy Van Lines. (I was promised over the phone when booking the move, I would be working with only Economy Van Lines). I had items missing and still have not received them. When I called, customer service is horrible to deal with and the manager Joseph Brady was very unprofessional and did not help me at all. It was such a nightmare from start to finish.
