Well I'm betting I'm not the only one with this story. Either way I want everyone out there to know that using this company will cost you more than just what the movers charge you. First there going to do is over charge you from any quote they give you. Don't even start to believe the quote they give you. Next they will be late to getting to the pickup and then the driver will forget to do an initial weight of truck before arriving. They made my parents drive 65 miles to get the weight of the truck. I had told them that they didn't want to have to drive back. I did not see that being my parent’s problem. Now that they got everything packed on the truck we have them bring it to Houston. Most of the stuff arrived upside down in boxes where they were clearly marked FRAGILE and THIS SIDE UP ONLY. They also decided to deliver stuff that didn't even belong to me and have no interest in picking it up. Someone out there is missing about 15 boxes of valuables. So now that I've got extra boxes I'm missing some of my stuff. TV's, Stereo equipment and lots of broken Bells and nick naks that belong to my mother. The company did not check off any of the boxes as they moved obviously since I received boxes that were not mine. They destroyed the carpet in a lot of places. Dragged beds on the ground and then carried the dirt from outside to inside. The supervisor for the past 5 days now has done nothing but say we are looking for it. They don't seem to care at all since I've never had more than a 5 minute conversation with them. All they want to do is hand the problem off to the next person. There claims department is not there but a claims department for many other moving companies. So there not really able to help either. So just a warning before you decided to call anyone with UNITED MOVING COMPANY LLC attached to it and something happens, you’re going to be in for a ride. I've decided to take legal action against them.
