I have never been more upset with a company in my entire life. They held my things hostage for over a month and refused to talk to me or give me any details as to when my belongings would arrive. I have not been able to get a hold of my "sales rep" since I handed over my deposit months ago. The moving truck arrived late because of a "flat tire". The drivers left my house a complete mess. Once my things were on the Budget truck (not an eco-friendly truck as falsely advertised), they doubled my quote. When the truck pulled away I knew I had made a huge mistake by letting them continue with this move. I didn't have any paperwork that mentioned Eco Vanlines and could not get a hold of anyone from the company. They put you on hold for hours and no one is every available. They don't even have a management team. The employees they do have must spend a majority of their day going on to review sites such as this and writing themselves 5 Star reviews. Isn't it curious how they either have 1 Star or 5 Star reviews, nothing in between? They 5 Star reviews all sound extremely similar as well. No one would address my concerns about the price hike and no one could tell me when my things would arrived. I was promised a delivery within the week. My belongings sat in a warehouse for weeks. After weeks of sleeping on the floor, eating off of paper plates, and showering without a shower curtain, my things arrived in yet another diesel truck. This truck was also late due to a "flat tire". Note: their website mentions that they do weekly checks on all of their trucks. The drivers had me in tears. They were cruel and rude. They could barely open the back doors of the truck because me fragile boxes were teetering on top of a horribly disorganized pile of my belongings. My boxes were wet, damaged, charred, open, and several items were broken. I'm not even sure if these guys know how to handle anything gently. Please do some research on this company. They operate under several different names (Priority 1 is an example) because they get so many bad reviews and complaints to the BBB. Their employees even use fake names. They have had their license revoked several different times. DO NOT TRUST ECO VANLINES! You do not want a company as terrible of this to ever have possession of all of your belongings. They don't care about you, don't know how to run a business, and can't even define customer service.
