This company lied to me every step of the way through this process. I was told that everyone who works for this company doing pickup and delivery was skilled and experienced. When they showed up it was a random guy in a BUDGET truck. When they arrived they almost doubled the price of my move from my BINDING QUOTE. Then they took my items and they had it in their warehouse in tennessee for 5 weeks before it even was put on a truck. In the mean time everytime i try to call these people i either cant get anybody on the phone or they give me the runaround and tell me they will call me back and i never got a call. They also told me that they would call me when it was put on a truck and tell me more details that didnt happen. When they picked up my goods they told me that it would take 7-10 business days to get to my house. Also i had that in writing! When i told them that they said it didnt matter. My mom called the guy who was taking care of the move and he told her he DIDNT CARE if we got our stuff or not!. This whole time i keep thinking Its probably gone forever and then i get a little bit relieved when i found out that my stuff was on the way and it would be here in 4-6 days. 6 days later i called and they told me the truck broke down! Nobody informed me of that at all! I had to fish for information every step of the way. FINALLY when my stuff does get on the way i talk to the driver who is rude as hell to me acting like i shouldnt be bothering him. Then the icing on the cake here, when they get here its a guy who works for a company called "Moving Mania" and is not affiliated with eco van lines! Who then tells me that his truck is too big to get close enough to my home to put my things inside and i need to rent my OWN uhual for them to load it into so that we can load it in ourselves and assemble the furniture ourselves. I PAYED TO HAVE THEM ASSEMBLE MY FURNITURE AND THEY DID NOT! So once we finally get our stuff, most of our funiture was damaged and we are missing pieces to our furniture as well as lamps, our vaccume a mirror and god knows what else we havnt even finished unpacking yet for all we know we could be missing entire boxes.
I believe this company stole from me. They stole my time, my energy, some of my goods, and my money! i should not have had to pay 3500 for that crappy service I could have done a better job if I a 105 pound woman, loaded, drove and unloaded the stuff myself. At least if i did it myself i wouldnt have had to wait 6 weeks.
