EZ moved my 2 bedroom to a one bedroom. I had everything disassembled, ready to go. And on move day I woke up early and moved small stuff on my own like boxes, laundry baskets (with stuff I didn't want to dig through boxes to find), and cleaning supplies. The crew arrived promptly on time and got to work, securing all of my things with blankets, shrink wrap and bubble wrap.
Yes, it costs extra to protect your belongings. It says it in the confirmation email. I minimized those costs by transporting my own fragile items and packing what I could by myself. Yes, you are charged for the time that it takes to travel from where you're moving from to where you're moving to. Along the route of my move, there were 4 schools with slow speed limits. It's not the crew's fault that it adds more time to the commute when this happens...
There were some minor dings on some stuff but frankly, that happens when you move. ESPECIALLY in the Chicago area with the old buildings' narrow stairwells. Thankfully nothing of mine came up missing, and like I said, minor dings (and only on the cheaper furniture I have made of particle board). The crew was courteous, professional, and extremely efficient.
All-in-all due to preparation on my part and hard work on the crew's part, my estimated move time of 5 hours was WAY over estimated. It took half that time, literally only 2 1/2 hours. Kudos, EZ... thank you!
