First of all I believe that these guys are not even movers, but are brokers - the actual company moving your things can be (in my case, was) some sketchy company you never agreed to work with and didn't check out. I moved from Chicago to Fort Lauderdale using their services. They provided me with a competitive quote and their sales rep "seemed" honest, so I decided to go with them. Once they were in possession of my belongings they substantially increased the cost of the move by increasing the cu. ft. of my belongings (their own binding quote said they couldn't do that after the van was loaded). They also charged long carry fees that were not due and aggressively sought gratuities. Many of our belongings were missing (and may have been stolen or lost). They seem to do nothing when that happens. DO NOT use these guys. They are nice until they have possession of your belongings and then do the least they can do,. I cannot state strongly enough that these guys and those they work with are to be avoided - they seem nice to lure you in, then they overcharge you, contract the work out to who knows who, and lose (or worse) your stuff. The worst of the worst. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY! DO NOT HIRE THEM OR YOU WILL BE SORRY!
