There is nothing about my experience with Direct that is at all positive. They promised Friday pickup, showed up late on Sunday. They promised two week delivery, and showed up five weeks later. And, after specifically telling them I could not accept delivery on Saturday, they charged me a $200 "late fee". Worst of all, though, they lost one of my items. Partly du to an oversight on my part, they failed to get three itms on my inventory. Two ultimately got delivered but one is lost, maybe stolen. I have attempted to contact them at least a dozen times and have received exactly one response.
Folks, these people are awful, and might be crooks. Significantly, even their drivers....all contractors...complain openly about the people running the joint. Save yourself the heartache and DO NOT USE DIRECT VAN LINES.
