Direct Van Lines saved the day. I am not a hard customer to please. I just require people to follow the law and rules. I had hired another company initially, but when I caught a mover improperly relieving himself in the backyard of the old house, I immediately knew to cancel. I was quoted slightly more by Direct Van Lines but once this situation occurred, I called them back to complete the move, letting the other company keep the $100.00 deposit and unload the items they had in their truck back into the old house. Direct Van Lines sent a crew out the next day. They completed the move for a minimal amount more. They were kind, courteous, and respectful. They delivered on time and all items were returned to me safely. Peace of mind is priceless.
