Three workers were assigned to the move. All were hard workers and did not waste any time, or complain about the stairs in both places. The time line was about an hour longer than expected, but layout of property made it impossible to be any shorter. I was told the mattresses could be wrapped in blankets, but the driver pushed for plastic covers - which added up to $40 more. I was told the drive time would not be double time, but the driver told me that anything over 10 minutes would be double, so that was an added cost. It was a local move, so drive time was short anyway. Wardrobe boxes were used to transport chairs and a few other things - that was a good idea. I was surprised the monitor to my computer (no flat screen for me yet!) was bubble wrapped and then put into a box instead of blanket wrapped. Again added cost for the box and bubble wrap. Blankets were used to wrap furnitre. Overall a good experience with people who seemed to know what they were doing. There were no damages. I have moved many times with professional movers. Uneventful is a term I strive for to describe a move, and uneventful it was!
