I have used many moving companies over the last 10 years. Due to my husbands employers requirements we normally move about every 2 years give or take. I guess you can consider me having many moving experiences under my belt. From Smooth transactions to undergoing indescribable nightmare experiences!
Needless to say, over these years, I have learned to do my thorough moving company research! I must say, Although, Dimension Moving & Storage was not at the top of my list because of some of the experiences shared on this site, After checking them on protectyourmove.gov and bbb.org, something inside me told me to just give them a call to get further information.
From my initial contact with this company, every staff member I ever spoke to was nothing but courteous, professional and most importantly, knowledgeable about the moving industry. I felt as thought they went the extra mile to make sure they had every single important detail regarding my move. Ill tell ya, most moving companies, just give you a price, not caring to go into detail concerning any potential additional charges! I guess they figure, once they have your business, they don’t care. Before you know it, you are being charged for ridiculous charges on your move day that you were never aware of! But of course, what can you do, sometime you have no choice but to accept this especially if you must be out of that house on that day.
My rep. Ms. Martinez was absolutely phenomenal! Their attention to detail was what impressed me the most and how they really take the time to go over every detail with you. Not just the price, but any additional charges and tips on how to ensure a smoother experience. And that is what you really need in a moving company. At least this is what I look for. One that is honest and where you feel confident knowing they are going the extra mile to avoid you having any unwanted surprises on the day of your move. I normally (From Horrible Experiences) discard low pricing I get. Sometimes pricing from moving companies may seem too good to be true. If this is the case I normally check them out because 90% of the time they have a horrible reputation. All these companies do is give you a LOW PRICE just to over charge you/screw you on your move day. ( Trust me, it has happened to me!)
On my move day, these guys were nothing but caring and professional. The way everything was wrapped and how everything was handled was absolutely extraordinary!
I was called right the next asking how the service was. They had my weight certificate ready and even sent me a copy in advance via email. Anytime I called inquiring on the status of my belongings, they were always quick on giving me accurate status. They kept me posted about any delays and updates. The thing I really liked is how all of this was done via telephone. My weight was estimated at about 6,700lbs and the final weight came in just below this.
I received my items here in Atlanta, Georgia Last week and everything was delivered exactly the way they picked it up. I am more than satisfied with my relocation outcome with this company. I have definitely gotten my moneys worth. The $3,252.10 I have spent on my move has been completely worth it down to the last penny! I feel as though I no longer have to endure the irritating headache of having to find a decent moving company to move us. I truly recommend this company to anyone I come across in the need of a mover. I myself will contact them soon. (Hopefully no sooner than 2 years!)
