*DIMENSION MOVING & STORAGE IS A HORRIBLE MOVING COMPANY
My story is the following:
Dimension Moving & Storage moved my goods from San Jose California to Austin Texas. Upon arrival I immediately noticed that there was a problem:
• A Broken Desk
A short time later after unpacking, I found out that one of my lamps was broken. On top of this, the mover did not deliver a leather loveseat (I did not notice this at the time of delivery as I was way too busy looking at all of my delivered furniture).
So, here are the problems:
1. A broken Desk
2. A Broken lamp
3. A missing loveseat
I informed the moving company of the broken goods and was told to file a claim. I figured all is well as I paid .60 per pound insuring the items in the move.
MY CLAIM WAS DENIED. Why??? – Dimension Moving & Storage is not liable for items that they did not pack AND since the desk was made out of particle board (or pressed wood), they are NOT liable for that either. Looking at the fine print on the contract, they are not liable for much. After contacting Dimension Moving & Storage in regards to my denied claim (hoping they would at least do something), they told me to “read the contract” (they would send me a copy if I needed it – How rude).
