DO NOT USE DN VAN LINES! I used them to move this June, I was just going from Boston to Medford thinking it was no big deal. I called and gave them a very detaied description of what was in my apartment. Just to be clear, I live in a 600 square foot apartment with an elevator. I don't have a ton of stuff. The moving company gets there and I am informed that there is more stuff than they thought and it would take more time. It took them three hours just to unload my 600 square feet. Everything was already packed and by the door, and it took three hours.
So they went over on time by an hour, that's not the worst part. I get to the house and we start unpacking and notice we're missing a box. My fault I guess for labeling the box "alchohol". Yup that's right the only box I'm missing had all my booze in it. Coincidence huh? I called the company multiple different times and no one has gotten back to me. Finally I said "I want an answer" and they said there's nothing they can do for me about a missing box. Nothing you can do for me? You "lose" my stuff and there's nothing you can do for me? This isn't over DN van lines. I'm going to be contacting the better business beaureau and filing a complaint. Totally unacceptable.
