Here's my advice to everyone- don't go through dn. not worth the stolen items.

My mom just hired dn to move us literally right down the street. We move pretty frequently, and we don't have a lot of stuff. On average, it takes 3-4 hours to move us. So that's what we were expecting. However this took about 7 hours, not to mention that they showed up 2 hours late without calling. I can't believe how much it cost, because we were not expecting it to take that long. When they were bringing our staff to our new house, they said they had a gps and would have no trouble finding it, but they drove right past the house, which was kind of sketchy, considering my moms jewelry box went missing afterwards when we were unpacking. We have looked everywhere for this. My mom even hid it in her closet and specifically told the movers to NOT move anything in the closet. And they did, and the jewelry box went missing. I am truly upset by this. Very expensive jewelry, my jewelry, passports, my moms old wedding ring, and everything of sentimental value is in that jewelry box. So far the company has just said there is nothing they can do, of course, right? They keep telling us to look for it, but it's gone and we are positive. This has been the most stressful move because all day my mom is seriously just sitting crying her eyes out. This situation this really pisses me off. A couple of my brothers expensive hats have been taken, too. I am just at a loss. This is supposed to be a happy situation, moving into a new home, but dn has made it a very heartbreaking one. Don't use this moving line.
