Lied to from the beginning.
Asked if Cross Country Movers was a broker of which I would not use due to past problems with brokers
moving classic cars across country.
Was told they weren't and they owned plenty of trucks.
As soon as they picked up our load the truck headed for Florida the opposite direction of Colorado
and they unloaded our stuff in a warehouse where it sat for 3 weeks.
Latter found out they are a broker of which the lie was illegal (disclose laws).
Continued to add to costs, their hired mover arrives on a Saturday and demands $500.
Banks closed, told his company to come back Monday, they would not comply, had to pay
a lot for mover driver to stay all night in an enclosed area with truck.
Could not get his 40 ft truck at our location, we had to rent a Uhaul truck and pay for labor
to load and unload truck.
Driver was throwing our furniture out of the truck onto the ground, broke and damaged some
items before I could stop him.
Missing flat screen TV which was noted, but as of yet have heard a word from them.
DO NOT GET TRAPPED LIKE WE DID WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!
