Quote was competitive. Contact person was attentive until the move and then would not return calls.
The Sunday before arrival they called to offer the whole truck & a Wednesday delivery for $10,000 and to have cash or money order. Not possible. hey accepted a Deposit of $1000 via credit card?!
They arrived 3-4 hours late. 2 of the crew of 4 seemed experienced. They packed items we were told didn't need to be (chest drawers with soft items (clothes) and large items would be wrapped in mats. The cost of boxes, labor & tape was exorbitant and they spared no restraint double taping boxes and mats on furniture.
After packing I used a credit card for half the balance due (now $2000 higher than the quote).
Having moved a few times before (intrastate) I thought I knew what to expect.
Delivery was on Friday (5 days) after told Wednesday or Thursday. They pushed and insisted on cash or money order as well as additional charges for delivery of items to the detached garage behind the house.
The crew to unload were day laborers and untrained in moving, placing furniture. Overall a horrible experience, very stressful.
