We had a terrible experience with this moving company. They low balled the original quote and tripled the amount they wanted for the move when they showed up at the New York home. We removed many items from the original quote and still the dollar amount was twice the original quote. The movers in New York were very rude. We had about 15 items moved; a dining room set, a smoker, 2 chairs, 1 small table and about 5 boxes. Two large items were stolen or lost. The hutch for the dining room set and the smoker (a Green Egg) were stolen or lost. The dining room table was severely damaged with huge scratches and it was distablized. We paid $1500 to have the table repaired. The buffet from the dining room set had a corner broken. We never received resolution from the moving company. They never returned my calls and never followed up with us. They immediately sent us to the claims department. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They were completely dishonest. We should have sent them away as soon as they showed up at the New York house. Please stay away from this company even though their quotes and salespeople seem very competitive and easy to work with.
