BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE !
FOR FUTURE CUSTOMERS - LOOKOUT!!!!!!:
Before they start a job they will have you sign a contract. Make SURE to read your contract thoroughly before signing. Don't sign a page where they over estimate the cost to do a full move. Question anything you don't understand. Be aware of the the start time, travel time and the end time.
MOVING TRUCK:
Before the crew starts wrapping your items, make sure to inspect and check their moving truck. Make sure that everything works in the truck and it is fully functional especially the RAMP.
PACKING MATERIALS & TOOLS:
Make sure they have enough of the FREE items they promised you for the whole move, especially the padding/blankets.
Make sure to COUNT what boxes they brought with them and let them inform you each time they use a box and make notes of how many and what size boxes they did use. Also, make sure they write their box description in English and/or not a language you can't understand. Pay closed attention to the person that's wrapping your items or furniture. They do take their sweet time and over wrap unnecessary items to be wrapped.
Count how many FREE padding/blankets, shrink wraps and tapes they brought, because if they didn't bring enough, they will use boxes to wrap your belongings and they charge tremendous amount for each box they use. Compare the price on their list. Again, beware and count all the box they use!
FINAL DESTINATION:
Make sure to lead the moving truck to your final destination. They tend to drive very slow while if they follow you because you are being charged the double time to your final destination plus the 9% fuel charge. We suggest you don't agree to pay the 9% fuel charge at all!!
Before they unload their truck, they will have you sign and pay the amount to unload. Make sure they don't restart the unload time until you all agreed of how much you will pay. BEWARE of the total price. Again, they tend to overcharge for the use of the box which they didn't even use to wrap. Get COPIES of all your RECEIPTS and make sure they give you the discount if you pay them cash. Again, get copies of all your signed contract and paid receipts.
Reminder: Don't let them start the time until you signed the agreed contract and don't let them leave until you are satisfied with their final unloading.
CONCLUSION:
WE WILL NOT USE THESE MOVING COMPANY AGAIN!!!! Like the previous RIP OFF comment letters people wrote about them, it is very much true in details. We suggest you go to a better and more reliable company locally. Pay attention to customers comments and make sure that the company you hire belongs to a Better Business Bureau (BBB). Good Luck and hopefully you don't get the same BAD SERVICE we received from CONTINENTAL EXPRESS MOVING, INC.. It was a HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE.
