Worst moving experience ever

This company was late in picking up, was slow in packing, was late in returning my property. They quoted me 900 for moving 2000 lbs, but did not include "$175 warehouse fee," "9% gas fee," and so on. Those hidden charges alone wouldn't have been that bad, except later on after the movers had packed everything into their truck for me, they included packing charges and charged me $500 for some of the items that I did not have boxes for - a tv, three lamps, and a vacuum cleaner. This amounted to approximately $100 for "handling and packing charges" each, which they put into the pile paperwork and I signed for an "approval" - therefore moving my grand total up to $1800. They were poor at keeping contact with me, it took three weeks to move everything down, and in the end those three lamps that they packaged turned out BROKEN. I am still struggling to get through the claims process; they don't answer their phone calls, and are constantly telling me that someone else has my paperwork.
Finally, after three weeks after they finally delivered my property, they required that I pay with cash or a postal money order for the final product.
This was one of the worst experiences of my life; I have felt conned and betrayed by this company that had been so good about sending me e-mails and following me up during my decision-making process.
Do not trust this company.
