This was my first time using a moving service and was definitely delighted with the overall experience with Colonial Van Lines. Sean (my moving consultant and point of contact) was really friendly and straight forward about all the costs. Most importantly, he did not push us constantly for using CVL but at the same time also made sure to follow up with me on the time I had mentioned. After deciding to use CVL, they made sure to double check the estimated cost was correct by making their Quality control department call me and going through the list of things to be moved in detail. The driver of the actual move was also prompt in informing me well before time about their exact arrival time at both pickup as well as delivery.
The only suggestion I have is that make sure you ask the movers (who actually come for pickup) about the cost of any extra packing material they might use at the time of pickup(apart from the normal furniture wrappings), as I got charged for the boxes that movers decided to use for consolidating few smaller items and did not mention the cost upfront.
So overall, I will definitely recommend Colonial Van Lines and specifically Sean Boxer as a movng consultant (1-888-717-0711 Ext: 283 and SeanBoxer@Colonialmovers.com).
