As if moving and starting a new job is not stressful enough. This company TRIPLES your stress level.
The sales people promise you anything to sign up with them, even lie. I listed all of my items but had 8 extra boxes, which I called Lisa about. She never told me the additional fee although I called multiple times. When the movers arrived, they charged me $700.00 more!!!
From Lisa to Josh in sales to Andara and Tom in dispatch, you will find nothing but broken promises and at times, out right lies.
The only straight talking people in this company are the people who came and picked up my stuff. They presented the contract with the new price and said that the date of delivery could be 2 1/2 weeks AFTER the planned delivery date window, which was 10 days away. I asked why they hadn't come even earlier then since they knew I had to have the items during that window. They said that they are given the date by sales.
Honestly, what do you do? You are now desperate. You are now out of time. It is now too late to find another company so what do you do-you sign the contract.
When the furniture did not arrive during the promised window, I found out that the items were still sitting in a warehouse in Denver. Tom kept repeating "you signed the contract" over and over again.
Lies. Deception. Disrespect. This company preys on young and/or inexperienced people who have never done a big move and old, trusting people. DO NOT OUSE CLASSIC VAN LINES.
