Classic Moving Services is a fraudulent company that cannot be trusted. When initially receiving my quote from the company, I asked about any additional charges that I should expect, including a shuttle charge as I lived within the city of Chicago. The salesman guaranteed that there would be no additional charges, including, he explicitly stated, a shuttle charge. The initial quote was about $4000.
Three days prior to the pick up, I received a call from an Operations Manager Frank (954-375-2481), and he stated that there were in fact additional charges, including a shuttle fee of $500. He said the person I spoke with initially did not have the authority to say that there was no shuttle charge.
On the day of pick up the charge increased to $7750 "due to increased cubic feet" although the inventories were the same. There was no way to argue and it was too late to find another company. After pick up, they could not track my shipment. The customer service told me to file an online form. No one ever responded to the online form.
On the day of delivery, many things were missing including a bike, a set of weights, kitchen supplies, a dining chair, and a hand cart. There was ANOTHER shuttle fee of $700 bringing the total charge to $8750. Many items were damaged. The claim filing system is dysfunctional as well.
