I contacted Chad Moving on the 07/18/2014 to move my furniture from Arlington VA to Los Angeles CA.I spoke with one of their representative Amanda and she told me that the company rule piece by piece so I went with her over the phone with what I will move piece by piece ,it was a two bedroom apartment.I asked her about the approximate time that I will receive my furniture she said it usually takes 7-10 days and we agreed on specific amount which is 2000$. She emailed me the estimate (2000)$ and I understand that this is not fixed it might get increase. As she mentioned through the phone that I have to pay 100$ deposit to book for the moving and pay the rest when I receive my furniture. Three guys came on the moving dates , they were rude and unhelpful at all ,I even canceled one bedroom so all what they had to move is a one bedroom apartment.After 5 days I get an angry aggressive phone call from one of the company representative accusing me of not paying half of the amount which no one told me about .She asked for 2900$ dollars which I did not agree on in the first place.I tried to contact Amanda the representative that I made the deal with but they told me she no longer works in the company .I asked for the manager but they never transferred my call ,they always transfer me to the secondary manager Maya .Instead of fixing the problem she made it worse .I told her that the amount was 2000$ and this is what I agreed on and I even told her how can it get increased when I canceled one whole bedroom .She highlited that when the guys came to move my brother signed papers that the amount might get increased but actually she said your brother sighned on this specific amount and when I made sure from my brother he said no I was very careful not to sign on specific amount I sighned that the price might get increase and he said I even asked the guys how much it would be they don’t even know how much it costs. After many phone calls , up until now no one gave me a specific date regarding when am I going to receive my furniture neither tracking the truck that has my stuff. Every time I call they say the only person that can locate your truck is the manager and I can’t get a hold of her for almost a week now.When I negotiated with Maya the manager about the price she said we rule by square foot not by piece (this is something no one told me about before). We had back and forth phone calls regarding setteling on a price and she said well lets the furniture arrive and we will negotiate.A day later ,I checked my bank account they already deducted 2800$ without my permission or even my approval This is against their policy because according to what it is written customer pay half the amount when the movers pick up the stuff and the rest of the amount when the customer receive their stuff. They took the whole amount ,what if they broke something or what if I never receive my furniture.I tried soo many times to speak with the manager but offcourse each and every time the manager is not in the office or she is out for the day .Seriously they gave me so many reasons that they started to run out of ideas. I even try to locate the truck by calling them no one even tried to tell me where my stuff are or when I will be receiving them . I left my name and phone number 5 times to the manager but up until now I did not receive a single phone call.NEVER DEAL WITH THEM OR EVEN TRUSTING THEM BY GIVING THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER.
