When I hired a professional moving company, I expected them to do a better job of packing my household items than I could do. Unfortunately I was wrong.
They used as many large boxes as they could & did not wrap fragile items well. Our paintings were wrapped together without any padding between the frames, & we had over 30 damaged art pieces!
If an item didn't fit in the boxes, they would force the box closed which also resulted in damage. When I asked the company to take responsibility for causing the damage, they said they way things were packed was standard company procedure, & they stand behind the work that was done.
Next time I will save myself the headache & a considerable amount of money & do it myself!
