I should have payed attention to the horror stories I read about this company. Mostly because I was under a budget I used them. At the beginning they seem very friendly and customer service oriented but, once they have you under their spell...its all hell from there! Doesn't matter is their binding quote is low cause they will crank up the charges at pick up. They showed up way before I had verbally agreed so they can add the "wait fee"
They will show up with a truck so big that wont fit anywhere so they can add long carry charges. They will wrap items without asking first and then over charge you for the materials. It wont matter if you have tagged items all over with "fragile" "handle with care" "glass" warnings cause they will ignore it and start smashing boxes from the get go. I saw one of their movers using a container "flagged" as a stool to reach for other containers. I had mattresses wrapped in special bags and they broke them apart.
Once everything in their possession on truck they informed me of extras/fees. Even though driver has no power over contract he has the final word. If you complaint on the spot, then you have to waste your time dealing with customer service...at that point they become really angry and abusive.
Their policy becomes...if you signed it, you agreed on it! So they take advantage of people being on a tight schedule that you have no other option on the spot. If you request to speak to a supervisor or a manager they patronize you and take you for granted.
The delivery was even a worst story....boxes were crushed, torn, ripped....items missing, wet or broken. I guess they rely on the fact that people will get paid though insurance. They write one thing on their contract but do/say a different one verbally.
Please save yourself from frustrations and a living nightmare...whatever extra money you might save with them will be worth spending on a reliable and reputable company.
