When Charles arrived at our home the truck they originally brought was too small so he had to make arrangements to get another truck there to pick up what household goods they could not get into the first truck that arrived. The way he handled the situation at the time seemed to be great and ended up a total disaster. Charles and his crew loaded up the first truck and told us that the second one was on its way to load up the rest. The second truck did not get to our home until extremely last in the evening. The office could not find the truck for hours when it was suppose to be on its way to our home. They finally finished loading up our home around 1am. Charles told us he would be personally in charge of our household goods. The second truck that arrived was a red, white, and blue truck. Our furniture was suppose to be delievered in sc on July 1 it did not get here until late July 3. When the two trucks arrived the second loaded truck was completely different which means our furniture was off loaded from one truck to another truck. As the movers unpacked the truck one of the guys laid on the ground on the blankets that they had the furniture covered with. I was also told that they would put together anything they took apart and my sons had to put my furniture back together they didnt even offer to put it together. The only thing they did was hook up the washer and dryer.
We were never told that our furniture would be taken from one truck to another truck. We ended up with different weigh tickets which we needed for our military move and they made absolutely no sense. We have broken furniture which a claim was filed November 2010 and here it is February 11 2011 and have still not received a response from the company. I have sent them emails wanting information on the claim and they can not even give me the courtesy of a response. I would not recommend this moving company to anyone else. What i thought would be an easy moved ended up being a complete mess. The company that connected us with CEH was budget moving company they give us a quote over the phone and we ended up paying 1000.00 more for the move then we were originally quoted. When I discussed this with Charles and the other movers I was told that this happens all the time. So if you use this company be prepaired to pay a lot more then you are quoted.
