After reading various negative reviews and then some positives I was sure were fake, I must admit I was a bit apprehensive but went with them anyway, because a) I was on a very tight budget, and b) I absolutely detest the idea of being owned by my property, so if I did lose half of it it would SUCK, but might be a valuable event. Olivia, my contact person at Budget, was super patient, helpful and responsive (I think I called her to change my inventory 4 times... maybe more). I was assigned Eli Trucking Company, and they were GREAT: all my stuff arrived undamaged (some laquered gold leaf flaked off one of my small Asian cabinets, but it was already starting to do that, so they can't be faulted), which is pretty impressive, as one item was a bright pink year-old scooter, and tons of it was glass/very fragile (I do multimedia art, including glass, ceramic and wood). Knowing it was going to be manhandled, I did make sure to pack everything without a gravitational orientation, such that flipping it upside down/sideways/whatever wouldn't damage anything. My scooter revved right up (i.e., she hadn't been knocked over, which would have caused anomalous gas flow to prevent her starting immediately), my potter's wheel and all its parts are happy in the new studio, and all the fragile bits I entrusted to them are safe in my new home!
