This e-mail serves as confirmation that your services have been cancelled with Budget Van Lines. Your order number, (W1560078), will be removed from our systems 48 hours after cancellation. A refund has of your deposit in the amount of $389.53 has been processed back to the credit card on file. However as stated in your estimate the booking fee in the amount of $195.00 is non refundable.

Good morning Shana,
There must be some sort of confusion regarding the matter.
At no time did Mr. Schecter advise of a non-refundable fee. If that would have been the case I would have not made a reservation when I was getting a quote. Actually Mr. Schecter made it very clear that the purpose of obtaining my credit card was to hold the quote and that no charges would be applied until I made my choice if I was going to proceed with the move. As previously stated to Mr. Schecter my move is minimal and was not sure if I was going to secure services with your company. Furthermore, we were hesistant to give my credit card as per the aforementioned but Mr. Schecter was very adamant that it was required to hold the quote. Bottom line, the sales department (Schecter) was very clear that I would not be liable for any charges if I deemed a cancellation was necessary. In addition Mr. Schecter at no time divulged such stipulation of either a non-refundable fee or time frame to include a non-refundable fee. As you may agree this quote was only done a week ago, as such, I respectfully request a refund of that fee.
I hope we can resolve this 'misunderstanding' and/or failure to provide accurate sales practices amicably without having to proceed further.
