My move went relatively fine but I’m giving this review an average rating based on the fact that I was caused unnecessary stress due the fact that I did not realize I would be moving with a broker. When I booked my move with Budget Van Lines, I expected a Budget Van Lines truck to show up. I’m not sure if the representative I spoke with explained this to me or not because this was a last minute move and I had to rush through the whole process, but I was very dismayed when a different company showed up to move me.
That being said, after my frantic call to Budget, I was told that everything was going according to plan and to let the movers into my house to pick up my items. Again, the movers were prompt and courteous, but this was really jarring at a time when I was already going through enough stress. There were also I couple nicks on my dresser and bed posts- nothing major but still not pristine.
